Samuel "Sam" Mitchell (born July 24, 1988) is an American writer, actor, sound department member and staff member of Rooster Teeth-owned ScrewAttack, known for Desk of DEATH BATTLE (2015), DEATH BATTLE! (2010) and The Industry (2015). He has grown up with Chad and Austin and was home schooled. He was hired by Chad to help out with merchandise, and like his partner was picked up to do work on several ScrewAttack shows. He is known for speaking nonsensically and having a nihilistic viewpoint on most things.

Biography Edit

Sam has both an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from North Central Texas College where he attended from 2007-2009. He then went on to graduate from the University of North Texas where he earned a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, attending from 2009-2011.

Career Edit

Sam was hired to help Chad with merchandise and became one of the major players on the live streaming side of ScrewAttack hosting Screwin' Around, Sidescrollers, ScrewAttack Live and Mario Party After Dark. Sam was also a prominent figure of Game Attack's Four Play.

His first appearance on screen was as a hobo who lived in the garbage. Sam has hosted many shows during his time at ScrewAttack, including Screwin' Around, ScrewAttack Live and Sidescrollers, as well as featuring in Clip of the Weeks. He has also filled in for other hosts of Hard News.

Sam has been in numerous shows involving drinking. Sam and Chad once got drunk as hell and played some Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. He had his own show called The Overdrinker, where he would discuss video game topics while drunk. Sam also has a long history with Mario Party, and together with Chad and Jared started Mario Party After Dark, which was followed by the Bottoms Up Cup, both of which featured heavy drinking.

Sam currently writes for ScrewAttack's DEATH BATTLE and Desk of DEATH BATTLE. He is also a co-host of Backwardz Compatible where he does playthroughs and one-off games with Kyle Taylor and Cole Gallian.
