- Ruby Rose - Her character design most resembles Little Red Riding Hood - She wields a gun/scythe(High Caliber Sniper Scythe) known as "Crescent Rose"
- Weiss Schnee - Her character design resembles that of Snow White - She wields the Multi Action Dust Rapier, "Myrtenaster," that seems to use elemental forces (such as fire, ice, etc.) and magic. Her name, translated from German, means "White Snow".
- Blake Belladonna - She wields the Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe "Gambol Shroud", a katana-like sword with a sharpened sheath. It has a pistol built into the handle and she likes to combine fabric on her arm with her weapon to swing it around like a kusarigama. She alludes to Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
- Yang Xiao Long - She is seen using a boxing fighting style and, upon getting angry, her eye color changes from her natural lilac to red. She wields Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets which extend along both her forearms from golden bracelets. Due to her comments upon meeting Ruby she could be her biologically or parental sister.
- Adam - a sword-wielding male seen in the Black trailer alongside Blake. His weapons are a sword and rifle which can be merged together, dubbed Wilt and Blush. He alludes to the Beast (Prince Adam) from Beauty and the Beast. Adam is voiced by Garret Hunter, a member of Mega64.
- Junior - Owner of the club which Yang walks into when looking for information on Blake. He is seen talking to an unknown man as Yang is surveying the area. He uses a rocket launcher which can transform into a bat.
- Miltiades Malachite - AKA "Miltia", she is seen as one of Junior's underlings. She dresses in red Gothic style clothing and wields long, red claw-like weapons. She is Melanie's twin sister.
