Owen Egerton is a director, writer, and actor. In 2018, he directed, wrote, and played Anthony Walsh in Blood Fest.
Biography[]
Egerton moved to the United States from the United Kingdom as a child, and has lived in Austin from 1991 to 2023, when he left for Boston, and a position at Emerson College and screenwriting professor.[1]
Egerton graduated the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letter and later from Texas State University in 2005 with a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction.[2]
He is married to Jodi Egerton, with whom he wrote This Word Now.[3]
Career[]
Throughout his career, Egerton has writen several books including Hollow and How to Best Avoid Dying. He also directed and wrote several movies including Blood Fest, Mercy Black and Follow. He also dabbled in podcasting, play writing, and stand-up comedy.[3]
