Koen Wooten is a former supervising producer at Rooster Teeth Productions's animation division.
Holding degrees in both English from Blinn College and Film School at Austin Community College, Koen worked in the film industry for a decade, doing props and storyboard work in movies such as Idiocracy, Machete and True Grit, as well as directing commercials and music videos. He then moved onto the gaming industry, with gigs in writing (Doom, Starhawk) and cinematics ( Murdered: Soul Suspect). Then in late 2014, a friend in the industry introduced him to Gray Haddock and got him the job on Rooster Teeth.
In addition to supervising production on Red vs. Blue, RWBY, Nomad of Nowhere and Gen:LOCK, Koen has also directed segments of RWBY Chibi and voiced Kohan Wooter, a producer who's a clear caricature of himself, in Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox.
He is married and has two daughters.
He left Rooster Teeth in July 2019. He is currently the cinematic lead at Retro Studios.
