Jason Weight is a former writer for Red vs. Blue. After being invited to RTX 2017 by Koen Wooten, he was hired by Miles Luna to write four PSAs ("Caboose's Guide to Finding Your Home", "Hard Truths", and "Lopez's Technical Guide to Empathy" before season 16; after it, "Recycling") and to assist Joe Nicolosi in writing the latter half of season 16, Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox, along with voicing the orange knight Lancelot. He then became the main writer for Red vs. Blue: Singularity (where again he has a small voice role, the sadistic PE instructor Coach Prestwood) as Joe had to depart for other projects. He also had a brief role in the Camp Camp special "Arrival of the Torso Takers!" and co-wrote the last two episodes of gen:LOCK.
Outside of Rooster Teeth, Weight also created the online sci-fi comedy show Starship Goldfish (previously known as Sam Sweetmilk after the title character, also voiced by Weight), for which he participated in the Animation Festival at RTX 2017, and the next convention he premiered a revamped pilot (featuring the voice of RT collaborator Shannon McCormick). He has since also worked in Crunchyroll's FreakAngels.
