Jason "Jax" Kane is a former animation technology producer for Rooster Teeth. He has worked on RWBY Volume 6, gen:LOCK Season 1 and Nomad of Nowhere. Prior to joining Rooster Teeth Animation, Jax has been a long time veteran of the Austin, Texas software development industry of over 20 years and a veteran of the Los Angeles film & television for over 5 years. He's worked at Kalisto USA, BigSky, Inevitable Entertainment (Midway Austin), and most recently Daybreak Games. Jax has also worked in the Military Rehearsal/Training software industry at Total Immersion/Intific. He also worked for many years in the casino game development space at Multimedia Games, EVERI, and Artistocrat Technologies. Jax is also a certified Scrum Master, PMP, and is a certified JIRA & Confluence Administrator. Jax is equally comfortable working on art production teams, game design teams, as well as low level engineering architecture/SDK tech teams. During his professional career he has worked on 4 "shipped" PC/console game titles, 3 large scale military contracts, hundreds of physical playerstation casino games, a dozen mobile casino games, 4 feature films, and a half dozen television shows throughout his career. Jax's passions lie in Agile Methodology, personnel mentor-ship, business development, project management, project management, and better life balance through technical innovation and process standardization.
