Face Jam is an audio-only podcast where Michael Jones and Jordan Cwierz eat and rate limited time offers in various fast food restaurants. The show is released Tuesdays every other week. Apart from the two co-hosts, the show also features Eric Baudour, who is the producer, and Nick Schwartz, who handles audio and editing.

Format

The show is divided into several segments, though frequent tangents and anecdotes give it a looser structure.

• Introduction: In the intro, the cast tend to talk about events that occurred when ordering and eating the food.
• Past experience with the restaurant: The cast talk about whether they've been to the restaurant before.
• Wetting our whistle: In episode 42, an earlier "spitting silly" section was added to the show's format, where the cast talk about whatever they want.
• Haiku: Jordan reads out a haiku he wrote about the restaurant or food. This segment began in episode 36. Episode 47 features a "flaiku", or haiku made on the fly. The Crazy Calzony in episode 48 didn't get a haiku.
• Facts: Michael reads five facts, provided by Eric, about the food item or the restaurant. These facts usually contain comments and jokes.
• Ads: The cast takes a break in the show to talk about their sponsors. An entire second narrative has been constructed within the ad segments.
• Press material: Jordan reads official blurbs about the food, provided by the restaurant.
• Van segment: The co-hosts ask Eric if they finally have a van. After the van vodcasts, this segment was retired.
• Spitting Silly: The co-hosts talk about whatever they want. The show's format sheet describes this section as, "fuck around, if you want".
• Reviewing the food: Michael and Jordan give their opinions on the food and each give it a score out of 100. Eric then gives the average score.
• Snack Attack: The co-hosts give a one-bite review of snacks sent in by fans, and each give it a score out of 100. While Face Jam was not being recorded in person, this segment was occasionally replaced by "Surpsides", in which the co-hosts each picked a side offered by the restaurant to review and rate instead. Snack Attack has had two dedicated streams for the cast to go through the surplus of snacks sent in by fans.
• Announcements and outro: New merch and other Face Jam news is announced, before the cast close out the show.

• The podcast's name is a play on the 1996 film Space Jam starring Michael Jordan, as the two hosts' names are Michael and Jordan.
  • In fact, one of the original names for the podcast was "The Michael Jordan Podcast."
• As of episode 42, McDonald's, Taco Bell, TGI Friday's, Jack in the Box, Sonic, and Little Caesars are the only restaurants that have been visited more than once.
