Eileen "Einlee" Chang is a character designer for RWBY. She was the first artist to work on the series – having been a fan of her artwork for many years, Monty Oum contacted her directly to work with him when production started.
She worked closely with Monty on early designs for the main characters. Monty would send her his rough concept sketches, which she would then develop into fully-fleshed designs. Einlee did the original designs for many of the main characters, including all of the members of Teams RWBY and JNPR, as well as many others. She also worked on the Volume 4 timeskip designs.
Her artwork is featured prominently on the official RWBY banner. She also hosted the first RWBY Art Panel at RTX 2013 alongside Monty, Patrick Rodriguez and Kristina Nguyen.
