Brian Gaar is a writer, comedian and sometimes television personality. He is also a former newspaper journalist. He regularly performs stand up comedy on projects such as ATX Uncensored(ish) (2015), On the Spot, and Brian Gaar: Jokes I Wrote at Work (2015)
Bio[]
Brian received a Bachelor's of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
Career[]
Brian hosted, wrote, and produced the comedy daily news show, ATX Uncensored(ish), that aired on the CW Austin.
Before that, he was a reporter and editor for the Austin American-Statesman.
Within Rooster Teeth[]
Brian competed in Rooster Teeth's gameshow, On The Spot.
He also conducted an interview with Barbara Dunkelman and Blaine Gibson for RT's Documentary , Connected, for ATX Uncensored(ish).
Brian was hired to be a writer for The Know in 2016. Later, he would host a majority of content for The Know until its final episode on February 13, 2019.[1]
On February 14, 2019, a video titled 'Welcome to Inside Gaming!'[2] announced Brian's new job as an Inside Gaming host. Brian now writes for Inside Gaming and hosts weekend videos on the channel.
On January 4th, 2021, it was announced in an Inside Gaming video that Inside Gaming Daily would not be continuing and Brian would be moving to be a member of Rooster Teeth's broadcast department as a writer. He will continue to host weekly round-up news videos for Inside Gaming.[3]
On October 1, 2022, Brian ended his weekly round-up with "a little bit of announcement" that this would be his last Inside Gaming episode, as he was leaving Rooster Teeth.[4]
