Andrea Caprotti Varela is a former 3D animator for Rooster Teeth Productions. She first joined the company as a freelancer in 2015, doing animation work for Season 13 of Red vs. Blue and Volume 3 of RWBY. She returned the following year, and has also animated RWBY Chibi and Gen:LOCK ever since.
A graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, Andrea was also a junior animator at Armature Studios and an intern at Cartoon Network Studios, where she worked in Adventure Time Battle Party.[1]
On July 12, 2019, she announced her departure from the company.
