Achievement Hunter VS The World was one of the eight pitched test shows which was introduced in 2014. Even though it was not mentioned in the top two show ideas voted by the community, the idea was considered a success and slowly started to started to appear more.
The show however went on hiatus and was eventually replaced with Achievement Hunter's "Git Gud" style of videos which introduced the same concept of Achievement Hunter versus online players.

- The series has two logos with the first including former Achievement Hunter member, Ray Narvaez, Jr.. The second logo adds Matt Bragg and Jeremy Dooley with Ray being removed from the lineup due to his departure.
- Andrew Blanchard is the only person to appear in the series without having a VS styled depiction in the intro.
- Rocket League is the most played game in the series being played 4 times, followed by Call of Duty at 3, and Halo 5 at 2.
